Amalia Vicze - Principal Solicitor
As the founder and principal solicitor of William Archer Defence Lawyers, Amalia Vicze has dedicated her career to providing expert legal representation in criminal law, with a strong focus on traffic offences and criminal defence. With years of experience, Amalia’s passion lies in defending her clients' rights and achieving the best possible outcomes for them.
Amalia’s approach is straightforward and client-focused— she prides herself on clear communication, transparency, and a personalised legal strategy tailored to each case. Whether facing driving while disqualified, dangerous driving charges, or other serious offences, Amalia’s practice is committed to offering professional, practical solutions to even the most challenging legal situations.
Having come to Australia with broken English and as a political refugee in 1981, Amalia has excelled in her studies and commenced her Arts/Law degree in 1983 at the University of Melbourne. After finishing her combined degree, she worked in a variety of legal and quasi legal careers. She started this firm in 2006 and has an understanding and empathy for people she meets from diverse backgrounds.
William Manson - Solicitor
Our solicitor William brings his vast professional experiences - spanning parliamentary operations, legal research and drafting and organisational management to his role as a solicitor at William Archer Defence Lawyers.
He has an acute eye for detail and prepares our criminal defence and strategy for our traffic law clients with his unique and expert knowledge of the law.
Growing up in rural Victoria he has a very special understanding and affinity for our rural clients.
Finlay Park - Senior Paralegal
Our Senior Paralegal Assistant Finlay is an integral part of our law firm.
He ensures that communications with you, prosecution, our barristers and the courts run smoothly. He is now in his 3rd year at the Deakin University studying for his Arts/Law degrees and enjoys all the administrative tasks.
He is also an avid cricketer in his spare time.
Tatum Boyd - Paralegal
Our Paralegal Assistant Tatum is crucial to ensuring that the running of our many internal jobs gets done well. She ensures that everything in the background works to perfection.
She is now in her 4th year at the Monash University studying for her Commerce/Law degrees and loves seeing the law in action.
She loves a good tennis game and enjoys coaching tennis too.
